Account Deletion Instructions for Finora

In compliance with Google Play Store data safety guidelines, Finora provides a direct path for users to delete their Firebase Authentication credentials, personal accounts, and shared budget ledgers.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

You can request and execute account deletion in one of two ways:

Option 1: In-App Permanent Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the Finora application on your device.
  2. Tap the Menu / Settings icon on the top corner.
  3. Select Profile & Security.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account.
  5. Re-authenticate your session (required by Firebase Auth to confirm ownership).
  6. Confirm by clicking Permanently Delete.
  7. All transactional histories, split-bill ledgers, and authentication logs linked to your email are deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request

If you no longer have the app installed, you can submit a manual deletion request:

  • Support Email: vrrsoftwaresolutions@gmail.com
  • Email Subject: Finora Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]
  • Information Required: Please send this email from the address registered with your Firebase account.

Data Retention and Timelines

  • Authentication Credentials: Your Firebase login profile and account details are erased immediately upon deletion confirmation.
  • Shared Timelines: Transactions logged by you in shared group ledgers will be anonymized. All lists where you were the sole owner will be permanently purged from our database records within 72 hours.
  • On-Device Data: Notification-access transaction caches stored locally on your device are removed immediately upon log-out or uninstallation of the app.

Interactive Account Deletion Portal

Ready to delete your account? Enter the email address and password you use to log in to the Finora application. This will permanently delete your authentication profile immediately.

I understand that deleting my account is permanent and irreversible. I explicitly acknowledge that all of your shared budget groups, transaction histories, expense ledgers, and UPI sync logs will be immediately and permanently erased from the server.

Note for Google/Apple Sign-In Users: If you created your Finora account using third-party single sign-on (OAuth), you cannot delete it using this password form directly. Please email us at vrrsoftwaresolutions@gmail.com from your registered address, and our support team will process the deletion for you.
